The purpose of the Standing Committee on the Connecticut Courts is to establish
a permanent structure within the Connecticut Bar Association to study and
identify the Connecticut Judicial Branch's needs (including adequate resources,
personnel, infrastructure and technology) with a goal of assisting the three
branches of state government in the creation of a modern, efficient, fair and
accessible system of justice in the twenty-first century. The committee shall
from time to time issue reports and recommendations to the CBA's House of
Delegates and to the leaders of the three branches of state government
concerning the needs of the Connecticut Judicial Branch and the continuing
progress in meeting these needs.
