The committee seeks to: (1) improve students’ understanding of our judicial and legal system
through the development and implementation of law-related education programs
for junior high and high school students and continuing education programs; (2)
develop materials for distribution to teachers of civic and law-related
education classes; (3) recruit volunteer attorneys who are willing to speak at
schools throughout the state; (4) serve as the CBA’s liaison with the state’s
teaching profession; (5) support the existing law-related education programs
sponsored by the CBA and (6) coordinate efforts with the Connecticut
Consortium for Law and Citizenship Education(CCLCE).
